Microcosmos English School 
 
The MC English program is designed to provide students with the right English abilities so that they will be able to use English in a natural way and in the correct context.

We started to use radiation free vegetables, fruits, dairy, miso and other ingredients shipped  from Shikoku (southern part of Japan) for our school lunch.
We are doing our best to protect our students from the effects of radiation.

Hi there! How was your summer break? We had the most exciting summer school ever with summer festival, drawing contest, yummy food and what not!!! And that was so much fun! Check it out:

In June the Ladybugs and Butterflies learned about amphibians and reptiles. They made frogs, snakes, salamanders and alligators!
The Bumblebees learned about colors during the month of June. They learned how flamingos get their colors. They mixed white and red to make pink!

This month we learned about South Africa. We learned about the flag and how the Y shape signifies many different people coming together and become friends. We learned a chant about the animals there and what they are called in the Zulu language such as the snake (inyoka), elephant (indlovu), tortoise (ufudu), and eagle (ikhozi). We learned a new story about ostriches and tortoises.






 
今月の世界文化の学習は南アフリカの企画でした。いつも金曜日にやりますけども今回は国旗の特徴や当地の言語Zulu語での動物の名前や子供の話などを覚えてみました。南アフリカの国旗にＹ字が載っています。どういう意味でしょう？。私たち勉強をしましたので教えてあげましょうか。世界の皆さんがＹ字の形で手をつないで仲良くなるという意味です。来月は何にしょうかな。お楽しみ！

In May we had 5 Birthday kids! That was a really fun party! We made banana cake and celebrated all together!  In June we will have a Birthday party for one of our teachers! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
